Apple Switching to Intel Chips? So says ZDnet!
Color me skeptical but the rumors persist. This time zdnet is saying that Apple will move to Intel chips in their low end line on Monday. If true Apple may transition themselves out a of whole bunch of developers. Good luck with that Apple.

As long as the OS is ported, does this mean that all OSX software must be ported as well?
Well, from what I can tell if Apple goes x86 then there is going to be a ton of recompiling headaches not to mention massive trouble with altivec stuff. On the other hand if Intel starts making a PPC variant then no problem at all. Monday could be an interesting day.
Which figures since I said it was going to be boring.
