Another late comment... Awhile back, I took a walk through the computer section of my local Border's Books. I found that almost half of the Windows volumes were either troubleshooting or "crash prevention" books. NEARLY HALF. The Mac stuff? Software tutorials and guides for doing creative work, mostly. Nobody's claiming that Macs are bulletproof, but I find it very telling that the assumption of the Mac section is that your Mac WORKS and you've come to purchase books to learn how to do cool or useful things with it.
