Description

The Macintosh PowerBook Duo 2300c had a PowerPC 603e processor running at 100Mhz and a built in FPU.  The hard drive was available with either 750Mb or 1Gb of space.  The maximum RAM was 56Mb and it had a 9.5” active matrix LCD.  There were expansion slots for a modem and the dock but no included floppy or CD-ROM drive.

History

The first PowerBook to take advantage of the PowerPC chip, the PowerBook Duo 2300c was very fast and had a beautiful, clear screen.  Because it was in the “Duo” line, it was designed to act both as a desktop computer and as a portable.
