iBook G4 (Late 2004)

Introduced: October 2004
Terminated: July 2005

Another speed bump in the iBook G4 line, the iBook G4 (Late 2004) came in three configurations.  The low-end 12.1” configuration ran at 1.2Ghz, had a 30Gb hard drive and 256Mb of RAM.  The midrange 14.1” configuration ran at 1.33Ghz, had a 60Gb hard drive and 256Mb of RAM. The high-end 14.1” configuration ran at 1.0Ghz, had a 60Gb hard drive and 256Mb of RAM.  A slot loading Combo drive was standard on the first two configurations and there was a SuperDrive on the highest end configuration.

Continuing with their pattern of improving an existing line with speed bumps, the iBook G4 (Late 2004) had faster processors.  There were also improvements to each configuration.  The low-end configuration got a price cut to $999.  The midrange configuration had its hard drive size increased and the high-end configuration got a SuperDrive.
